ND <br /> December 9, 1952 <br /> A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in the <br /> office of the Town Accountant at 7b30 Monday evening, December <br /> 8, 1.952 with the following members in attendance: <br /> Raymond W. James, Vice-Chairman <br /> A. W. Cleveland Ralph H. Tucker <br /> James V. MacDonald Leslie C. Read <br /> Thomas J . Donnelly, Jr. Gardner C. Ferguson <br /> t -: Frank D. Walker, Secretary <br /> The minutes of the meeting held December 1, 1952 were approved <br /> with the spelling of Mr. Read' s name noted. <br /> Mr. James J. Carroll, Town Treasurer & Clerk came into the <br /> meeting at 7:L15 and explained his budgets. <br /> Mr. William Potter, Chairman Cemetery Commissioners came into <br /> the meeting to discuss the necessity for a transfer of 1372. for <br /> Westview Cemetery Maintenance, but will submit a formal request; <br /> also the fence that was repaired was not accepted and would be <br /> paid after the first of the year. Mr. Potter also commented <br /> that our Committee looked with disfavor on the purchase of land <br /> next to Bedford and that the Cemetery would ask for a fence along <br /> that line as it made 1200 lots unsalable. <br /> Mr. Garrity came in at 8:30 with Mr. Brenton and discussed <br /> his budgets. <br /> Mr. Healy, Veterans' Services Agent, came in at 9:20 and <br /> discussed his budgets . <br /> Discussion of Fire Dept . budgets closed the meeting with Ray <br /> James leading the discussion. <br /> The next meeting will be held December 15, 1952 at 7:30 P.M. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 10:20 P.M. <br /> Respectfmllly submitted, <br /> V) a.014-11/ <br /> diojX <br /> Secretary <br />
