110 <br /> MTNUTF9 OP THP MEETING ING OP THE <br /> APPROPRIATION COMMITTEE HELD ON <br /> May 26, 1952 <br /> A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in the <br /> office of the Town Accountant Monday evening, May 26, 1952 <br /> with the following members in attendance: <br /> Leon W. Bateman, Chairman <br /> Ralph H. Tucker. Thomas J. Donnelly, Jr. <br /> Leslie C. Read John J . Sullivan <br /> Gardner C. Ferguson James V. MacDonald <br /> Ethel 'T. Rich, Acting Secretary <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:30 by Chairman <br /> Leon W. Bateman. <br /> A correction is made herewith in the minutes of the meet- <br /> ing held May 19, 1952. It was reported that Raymond W. James <br /> was elected as Ce-Chairman. This should have read "Vice- <br /> Chairman". <br /> A request has been received from Mr. Nickerson to transfer <br /> 1300 from the Reserve Fund to establish a new account to be called <br /> "Out of State Travel" ( Selectmen, Town Counsel, Dept. Public <br /> Works ) . <br /> It was voted to transfer %300 from the Reserve Fund to the <br /> above account so-called "Out of State Travel". <br /> It was voted to rescind the vote under Article 5 Health - <br /> Expenses to appropriate A4, 380 and to substitute in place the <br /> amount of x;7, 380 recommended to be appropriated and raised in <br /> the current Tax Levy. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 7:50 to the Special Town Meeting <br /> held in Cary Hall. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Acting Secretary <br />
