0(4 <br /> January 29, 1952 <br /> A meeting of. the Appropriation Committee was held in the <br /> office of the Town Accountant Monday evening, January 28, 1952 <br /> with the following members in attendance: <br /> Leon W. Bateman, Chairman <br /> A. W. Cleveland Raymond W. James <br /> John J. Sullivan Thomas J. Donnelly, Jr. <br /> Leslie C. Read <br /> Ethel U. Rich, Secretary <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:30 by Chairman <br /> Leon W. Bateman. <br /> The minutes of the meeting held on January 22nd were <br /> presented and approved with one correction as follows : The <br /> vote previously approving the Appropriation Committee-Expenses <br /> was rescinded and the amount of : 1250 is recommended. This <br /> represents an increase of 8200 in the request for printing <br /> and mailing reports . <br /> Miss thompson came in at 7:35 to review the 1952 re- <br /> quests for Collector's Department. Left at 8:00 P. M. <br /> Mr. Collins and the Board of Public Welfare came in <br /> at 8 :45 and generally discussed their budgets with the <br /> Committee. Left at 9:2.0. <br /> Mr. Burns came in at 9 :30 with some new requests and <br /> changes on some of his budgets . Left at 10: 30. <br /> There will be a special meeting of the Committee to be <br /> held in the Accountant' s Office on Wednesday evening, January <br /> 30th at 7:30. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 10:40 P.
