t <br /> 9 1 <br /> January 15, 1952 <br /> A meeting of. the Appropriation Committee was held in the -- <br /> office of the Town Accountant Monday evening, January 14, 1952 <br /> with the following members in attendance: <br /> Leon W. Bateman, Chairman <br /> Ralph H. Tucker A. W. Cleveland <br /> Raymond. W. James Leslie C. Read <br /> John J. Sullivan <br /> Ethel U. Rich, Secretary <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:30 by Chairman <br /> Leon W. Bateman. <br /> The minutes of the meeting held on January 8 , 1952 were <br /> presented and approved. <br /> The School Committee entered at 8 o►clock to present a gen- <br /> eral review of the School Budgets for 1952. Left at 9: .5. <br /> The Library Trustees came in at 9:50 to review the budgets <br /> of the Libraries and presented their overall picture of personnel <br /> and maintenance accounts. Left at 11:00. <br /> The School Committee re-entered at this time to explain <br /> their request for the increase in salary which they are asking <br /> for Superintendent Grindle. Left at 11:25. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 11:30. <br /> The next meeting of the Committee will be held Monday <br /> evening, January 21, 1952 at 7;30 with the following agenda: <br /> 8:88 Mr. Carroll <br /> Mr. Burns at his convenience <br /> during the evening. <br /> We trust each member will make every effort to be present <br /> as we have many issues on which decisions must be made soon. <br /> Time is getting short. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> tt- <br /> Secretary <br />
