q2 <br /> December 11, 1951 <br /> A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in the <br /> office of the Town Accountant Monday evening, December 10, 1951 <br /> with the following members in attendance: <br /> Leon W. Bateman, Chairman <br /> Howard A. Patterson Raymond W. James <br /> John J. Sullivan Thomas J. Donnelly, Jr. <br /> Leslie E. Read <br /> Ethel U. Rich, Secretary <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:30 by Chairman <br /> Leon W. Bateman. <br /> The minutes of the meeting held on December 4, 1951 <br /> were presented and approved. <br /> Two letters were presented and read at the meeting, a <br /> letter written to Harold E. Stevens by Chairman Bateman is <br /> on file in the records of the minutes, likewise the reply <br /> from Harold E. Stevens, Town Counsel. <br /> It was voted to transfer 406.L.3 from the Reserve Fund <br /> to the following: <br /> Town Clerk-Treasurers - Personal Services. <br /> Mr. Sullivan presenteda letter pertaining to Tax Assess- <br /> ment Study as follows : <br /> December 10, 1951 <br /> rt <br /> Appropriation Committee <br /> The Tax Assessment Study Committee held a meeting <br /> Tuesday, December 4, 1951 at 7:00 P.M. in the Town <br /> Office Building. The Secretary, Leon Garfield, <br /> called the meeting to order and announced that the <br /> Chairman, Don Clark, had tendered his resignation <br /> and the Selectmen appointed Fred Newhall. Fred <br /> Newhall was elected Chairman. <br /> The Committee decided to invite the taxpayers <br /> association committee to meet with the Tax Study <br /> Cpmmittee Tuesday December 11. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 8:00 P.M. to allow the <br /> members to attend the taxpayers meeting in the <br /> Town Hall . <br /> Submitted by: <br /> J.
