9 <br /> December 4, 1951 <br /> A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in the <br /> _ office of the Town Accountant Monday evening, December 3, 1951 <br /> with the following members in attendance: <br /> Leon W. Bateman, Chairman <br /> Ralph H. Tucker Clarence E. Smith <br /> John J. Sullivan Thomas J. Donnelly, Jr. <br /> Raymond W. James A. W. Cleveland <br /> Leslie C. Read <br /> Ethel U. Rich, Secretary <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:30 by Chairman <br /> Leon W. Bateman. <br /> The minutes of the meeting held on November 27, 191 <br /> were presented and approved. <br /> Mr. Chapin came in at 7:30 to go over his budget requests <br /> for 1952, Veteran' s Services - Aid & Expenses , with the Comm- <br /> ittee. Left at 7:55 P. M. <br /> At 8 :15 the Board of Fire Commissioners, Mr. Roeder, <br /> Mr. Sheldon and Mr. Pitzgerald, entered to discuss their 1952 <br /> budgets . A general review of their requests followed. This <br /> Board left at 9 :15 P. M. <br /> A short time was given to discussions pertaining to the <br /> Recreation Committee budgets. <br /> At 9 :30 P. M. the Appropriation Committee left to meet <br /> with the Board of Selectmen in their rooms . <br /> The next meeting of the Appropriation Committee will be <br /> held Monday evening, December 10, 1951, with the following <br /> agenda: <br /> 8:00 Board of Health <br /> 8 :30 Mr. Burns <br /> Meeting adjourned at 10:45 P.
