82 <br /> MINUTES OF THE MEETING Or THE <br /> APP'.ROPRIATION COMMITT}:E HELD ON <br /> June 25, 1951 <br /> June 26, 1951 <br /> A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in <br /> the office of the Town Accountant Monday evening, June 25, <br /> 1951 with the following members in attendance: <br /> Leon W. Bateman, Chairman <br /> Ralph H. Tucker Clarence E. Smith <br /> Howard A. Patterson A. W. Cleveland <br /> John J. Sullivan Thomas J . Donnelly, Jr. <br /> Raymond W. James Leslie C. Read <br /> Prank D. Walker, Consultant <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:30 by Chairman <br /> Leon W. Bateman. The minutes of the meeting held on June 18, <br /> 1951 were presented and approved. <br /> Report of the Assessment Study Committee was presented by <br /> John J . Sullivan, a copy of which appears as follows : <br /> June 25, 1951 <br /> Assessment Study Committee <br /> "The firstmeetingwas held at 8:oo P.M. , June 7, 1951, at <br /> the Town Accountant' s Office to organize. Donald T. Clark <br /> was elected Chairman and Leon B. Garfield, Secretary. <br /> Lewis L. Hoyt and William C. Potter attended so that all <br /> members of the committee were present. <br /> The problem was discussed informally and the meeting was ad- <br /> journed about 10:00 P. M. until next September. <br /> Expressions of opinions by the members of the Appropriation <br /> Committee or suggestions would be welcome. <br /> John J. Sullivan, /s " <br /> It was voted to transfer $500.00 from the Reserve Fund <br /> to Interest on Debt Account. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 8:00 P.
