7 4 MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE <br /> APPROPRIATION COMMITTEE HELD ON <br /> March 12, 1951 <br /> A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in the <br /> office of the Town Accountant Monday evening, March 12, 1951, <br /> with the following members in attendance: <br /> Howard A. Patterson, Chairman <br /> William M. Hall Clarence Smith <br /> Raymond tiu. James John J . Sullivan <br /> Leon W. Bateman Thomas J . Donnelly, Jr. <br /> A. W. Cleveland Ralph H. Tucker <br /> Frank D. Walker, Consultant <br /> The minutes of the meeting held on February 26, 1951 were <br /> presented and approved. <br /> A joint meeting was held with the Board of Selectmen and <br /> members of the Assessors, School Committee and Cemetery <br /> Commissions present. <br /> Following the joint meeting the Appropriation Committee <br /> voted amendments to the following Articles appearing in the <br /> Annual Annropriation Report: <br /> To read <br /> Art. 4 Page 14-Item 35 Sewer Services $33,000 .00 <br /> " 15- " 38 Garbage 12,500.00 <br /> " 15- " 41 Highway Plaint. W & E 70,000.00 <br /> " 16- " 45 Street Lights 31,800.00 <br /> Art. 17 To appropriate 84,500 and transfer 83,000 from E. <br /> and D. , this sum to be reimbursed to E. & D. when <br /> received from State & County. <br /> Art. 18 To appropriate 824,000 and transfer 516,000 from <br /> E. & D. , this sum to be reimbursed to E. & D. when <br /> received from State & County. <br /> Art. 42 To appropriate 815,500. $15,000 to be transferred <br /> from E. & D. 8500 from Elementary School Sites <br /> Committee Account. <br /> Art. 50 Recommend Indefinite Postponement. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 11:15 P.
