MINUTES OF THE MEKIING OF THE <br /> APPROPRIATION COMMITTEE <br /> January 23, 1951 <br /> A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in the <br /> office of the Town Accountant on Monday evening, January 22, 1951 <br /> at 7: 30 with the following members in attendance: <br /> i <br /> Howard A. Patterson, Chairman <br /> Clarence E. Smith William M. Hall <br /> ozc Raymond W. James Ralph H. Tucker <br /> John J. Sullivan A. W. Cleveland <br /> Frank D. Walker, Consultant <br /> The minutes of the meeting held on January 15, 1951 were <br /> presented and approved. <br /> Mr. Burns came in at 8:50, left at 9 : 20. <br /> Welfare Board came in at 9:20 to discuss their 1951 budgets, <br /> left at 9 :45. <br /> Mr. Burns came in again at 9 :50 and left at 11:20. <br /> It was moved that the Appropriation Committee go on record <br /> as favoring a salary increase of 10% for all Town employees, <br /> effective April 1, 1951: but in no case shall the increase <br /> exceed $300.00 on an annual basis. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 11:25 P.
