MINUTES OF THE MEETING On THE <br /> APPROPRIATION COMMITTEE <br /> December 29, 1950 <br /> A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in the <br /> office of the Town Accountant on Thursday evening, December 28, <br /> 1950, with the following members in attendance: <br /> Howard A. Patterson, Chairman <br /> A. W. Cleveland William M. Hall <br /> Clarence E. Smith Raymond W. James <br /> Thomas J. Donnelly, Jr. John J. Sullivan <br /> Prank D. Walker, Consultant <br /> The minutes of the meeting held on December 19, 1950 were <br /> presented and approved. <br /> The following letter was read: <br /> "Mr. Howard A. Patterson December 19, 1950 <br /> Chairman, Appropriation Committee <br /> Lexington 73, Massachusetts <br /> Dear Sir: <br /> Confirming our verbal conversation of last evening we <br /> respectfully request transfers from the Reserve Fund as <br /> noted below: <br /> Elections-Jurisdiction Selectmen $160.00 <br /> Unpaid bill amounting to $275. <br /> for 8,000 warrants printed, <br /> stenciled and mailed. Balance <br /> in account $115.18. <br /> Selectmen' s - Expenses $100.00 <br /> Unpaid bills amounting to X98.98 <br /> as of December 18th, balance in <br /> account • 20.71. Unforeseen <br /> constable fees ( Cary Ave. & Watson <br /> Road) resulted in shortage. <br /> Very truly yours, <br /> GEORGE EMERY /s <br /> Chairman, Selectmen" <br /> It was voted to transfer the above amounts from the Reserve <br /> Fund to respective accounts. <br />
