MINUTES 07 THE MPETING 0 ' THE <br /> "i APPROPRIATION COMMITTEE <br /> October 30, 1950 <br /> A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in the <br /> office of the Town Accountant on Monday evening, October 30, 1950 T; <br /> with the following members in attendance: <br /> Howard A. Patterson, Chairman <br /> Clarence E. Smith John J. Sullivan <br /> Raymond W. James Leon W. Bateman <br /> A. N. Cleveland William M. Hall <br /> Prank D. Walker, Secretary <br /> The minutes of the meeting held on October 2t , 1950 were <br /> presented and approved. <br /> It was voted to rescind the motion on Article 6 and to <br /> substitute the amount of $1360. <br /> It was voted to send the following letter to James J . Carroll, <br /> Treasurer, also a copy to the Board of Selectmen: <br /> "James J. Carroll - Treasurer <br /> Town Office Building <br /> Lexington, Massachusetts <br /> Dear Mr. Carroll: <br /> At a special meeting of the Appropriation Committee held <br /> October 30, 1950 it was voted to confirm the appointment of <br /> Frank D. Walker, who has been engaged to act as special con- <br /> sultant for this Committee from September 15, 1950 for as long <br /> as this Committee desires his services and to pay for such <br /> services from the Appropriation Committee - Expense Account <br /> at the rate as determined by the Appropriation Committee for <br /> such expenses incurred. <br /> Very truly yours, <br /> Ethel U.
