MINUT'S Off' THE MELTING O " THE z <br /> APPROPRIAT ION COMMITTER <br /> October 24, 1950 <br /> A meeting of the Appropriation Committee was held in the office <br /> of the Town Accountant on Monday evening, October 2L , 1950 with the <br /> following members in attendance: <br /> Howard A. Patterson, Chairman <br /> William M. Hall Clarence E. Smith <br /> A. W. Cleveland Leon W. Bateman <br /> Thomas J. Donnelly, Jr. Raymond W. James <br /> John J . Sullivan <br /> Prank D. Walker, Secretary <br /> The minutes of the meeting held on Actober 16, 1950 were pre- <br /> sented and approved: <br /> It was voted to rescind motion on Article 12 and to substitute <br /> the amount of 11150.00. <br /> It was voted that the following policy of the Town of Lexington <br /> be established by the Appropriation Committee: <br /> "That there be no transfers from current or prior <br /> appropriations to any other current accounts", <br /> and to so notify the board of selectmen. <br /> A further review of the Warrant of the Town Meeting to be held <br /> October 30, 1950 was taken up and the following recommendations <br /> were made: <br /> Article 8 - Recommend indefinite postponement. <br /> " 9 - Recommend appropriation of X7,000. and transfer <br /> from E. & D. <br /> " 10 - Recommend indefinite postponement . <br /> " 18 - Recommend appropriation of w1,000. and transfer <br /> from E. & D. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 10:15 P.
