4 <br /> Minutes of The Meeting of The <br /> APPROPRIATION COPIT ITTEE HELD AT <br /> 7:30 P. M. February 27 , 1950 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Chairman Howard A. Patterson <br /> in the Town Accountant' s Office, with the following members in atten- <br /> dance: <br /> A. W. Cleveland Ralph H. Tucker <br /> Emile J . Vadeboncoeur Slarence E. Smith <br /> William M. Hall Leon W. Bateman <br /> Robert W. Fawcett Thomas J. Donnelly, Jr. <br /> �.w <br /> Prank D. Walker, Secretary <br /> Tom Don'lelly Jr. , and Leon Bateman were inadvertently left out <br /> of the list of m embers present on February Po, 1950 minutes. <br /> The minutes of the meeting held on February 20, 1950 were pre- <br /> sented and approved.. <br /> The members adjourned to the Selectmen' s Room where a joint <br /> meeting was held with the Selectmen, Cemetery Commission, School <br /> Committee and the Assessors'. The Joint meeting adjourned at <br /> 7:50 P. M. <br /> The Appropriation Committee reconvened in the Town Account- <br /> ant' s Office and discussed the Appropriation Committee report which <br /> is ready for the press. A few suggested changes were made. <br /> A discussion regarding the toilet facilities at Center Play- <br /> ground followed. It was thought that the price of 111,500. was <br /> quite an amount to pay for a toilet and shed which could not be <br /> used in the winter. <br /> The arguments to be used in defending our decisions as to why <br /> we take certain stands on each article and appropriations were dis- <br /> cussed.. - <br /> LTeeting adjourned at 10 :00 P.
