Aac <br /> MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF <br /> THE APPROPRIATION COMMITTEE HELD <br /> November 28, 1949 at 7:30 P.M. <br /> The meeting was called to order by Chairman, Howard A. Patterson, <br /> in the Town Accountant' s Office with the following members in attendance: <br /> Leon W. Bateman Emile J. Vadeboncoeur <br /> Thomas J. Donnelly Jr. Robert W. Fawcett <br /> A. W. Cleveland <br /> Frank D. Walker, Secretary <br /> Attending the School Committee Meeting were: <br /> 5-0 <br /> William M. Hall <br /> Clarence h. Smith <br /> The minutes of the meeting held on November 21, 1949 were presented. <br /> and approved. <br /> The Cemetery Commissioners: Albert Burnham, William G. Potter and <br /> Gail Smith came in at 7:30 and discussed their budgets - left at 8:30. <br /> The Fire Board: Harold Roeder, Chief Cook, Robert Fawcett, George <br /> Hines, Bill Fitzgerald and Alan Adams came in at 8:30 and discussed <br /> their b,:dgets until 9:30. <br /> Jos. DeFoe, Public Works came in at 9.30 and thefollowing discussed ' <br /> budgets until 10:45: <br /> Mosquito Control <br /> Sewer Services <br /> Highway Maintenance <br /> Water Maintenance <br /> Water Services <br /> Howard Patterson then explained to the Committee what the Selectmen <br /> were trying to do relative to obtaining the services of a Town Counsel. <br /> As there were no added suggestions the Committee went on record that if <br /> the Selectmen could obtain a suitable Town Counsel this Committee would <br /> be willing to transfer 0200. or 0300. to the account to carry him the <br /> rest of the year. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 11:10 P. M. <br /> espectfully submitted, <br /> Secretary <br /> Next Meeting, December 5, 1949. Agenda: Library, Police Dept. Public Works. <br />
