1 a MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF <br /> THE APPROPRIATION COMMITTEE HELD <br /> September 28, 1949 at 7:30 P.M. <br /> The meeting was called to order by Chairman, Howard A. Patter- <br /> son, in the Town Accountant' s Office with the following members in <br /> attendance: <br /> William M. Hall Emile J. Vadeboncoeur <br /> Robert W. Fawcett Clarence E. Smith <br /> Ralph H. Tucker . A. W. Cleveland <br /> Leon W. Bateman Thomas J. Donnelley, Jr. <br /> Frank D. Walker - Secretary <br /> The minutes of the meeting held Septemoer 12, 1949 were accepted <br /> and approved. <br /> A letter announcing Fall Town Meeting Nove.,_ber 14, 1949 read. <br /> Copy of letter to Selectmen from Board of Public Welfare read. <br /> Letter from Board of Selectmen requesting transfer of 318.75 <br /> to Dog Officer-Expenses vfas sent to all members. <br /> It was voted to transfer the sum of X318. 75 from Reserve Bund <br /> to Dog Officer- Expenses. <br /> It was voted to invite the Lexington Visiting Nurse Association <br /> to the next meeting October 10, 1949. <br /> Mr. Hall and Mr. Smith had visited with the School Committee and <br /> made a partial report before the Long Range Planning Comriitte was '--� <br /> ready to meet with us. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 8:A5 to the Selectmen' s room, where an <br /> informal get-to-gether was held in conjunction with the chairman of <br /> the Board of Selectmen. They are requesting from us our estimated <br /> total current expenditures for the next five years so that their <br /> Board will be able to make their report early. <br /> The joint meeting adjourned at 9:50 P.M. <br /> 'espectfully yours, <br /> \b13 <br /> Secretary <br /> Enclosed is a copy of the meetings Leon Bateman has attended with the <br /> Long Range Planning Co iriittee. <br /> The next meeting will be held October 10, 1949 at 7:30 P.M. <br />
