Received letter from Mr. Scott and Mrs. Vohl concerning <br /> the subject of learning disabilities reimbursements from <br /> the Commonwealth. The Chairman has asked Mr. Perry to <br /> look further into the validity of this situation and after <br /> all the facts are presented to the Committee , acknowledge- <br /> ment of this letter will be made . (Copy given to each <br /> Committee member) <br /> b. The Chairman acknowledged receipt of a letter from <br /> Robert C. Hilton, Director, Cary Memorial Library, regarding <br /> budget items which were proposed by the Library Trustees for <br /> 1973. (Copy attached) <br /> c . The Chairman received a letter from Mr. Frank I . Michelman, <br /> Chairman, LCSR , regarding a draft for an article which the <br /> Lexington Commission on Suburban Responsibility would wish <br /> to have included in the warrant for the 1973 Town Meeting. <br /> This request was for $2,500 to be used by the Permanent <br /> Building Committee in carrying out arrangements for recruit- <br /> ment or training of members of minority groups protected by <br /> the fair employment laws of the Commonwealth, or in compensat- <br /> ing contractors for costs incurred by them in connection with <br /> the renovation and expansion of the Cary Memorial Library or <br /> with the addition to the Central Fire Station. <br /> II . DISCUSSION <br /> a. It was agreed by the Committee that the Chairman would <br /> speak with the Board of Selectmen regarding the timely <br /> submitting of budget material. <br />
