The increase in requests by General Articles, the School budget and General Government is about $1,546,647, as of this date. This would project a tax rate of between $68. and $69 .80. Flynn Secretary The Appropriation-Committee held a meeting at 7:30 P.M., on Monday, January 17, 1972, in Room 111, Town Office Building, Lexington. Present were Edward E. Furash, Chairman, Jack L. Mitchell, Vice Chairman, Elizabeth M. Flynn, Secretary, Arthur T. Bernier, J. H. Blaisdell, Levi G. Burnell, Howard L. Levingston, H. B. Moore, Donald B. White and Richard M. Perry Comptroller. S . Byrnes, a town meeting member, Mrs. Sanderson, a citizen and Mrs. Feakes of the League of Women Voters observed the meeting. With reference to a letter received from Kingston Howard, Chairman of the Bicentennial Committee, the Chairman will invite the Com- mittee to meet with us to discuss their fund raising plans for 1975. Chairman Furash proposed the following schedule: 1. January 24th, January 31st, February 7th, regular Monday meetings 2. February 12th, Saturday meeting 3.
