The increase in requests by General Articles, the School <br /> budget and General Government is about $1,546,647, as of this date. <br /> This would project a tax rate of between $68. and $69 .80. <br /> The next meeting night is scheduled on Monday, January 17, 1972, <br /> to meet with the Capital Expenditures Committee. <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 10:05 P.M. <br /> Respectfully subtted, <br /> Elizabethes4,,g_e_z4 <br /> M. Flynn <br /> Secretary <br /> The Appropriation-Committee held a meeting at 7:30 P.M., on Monday, <br /> January 17, 1972, in Room 111, Town Office Building, Lexington. <br /> Present were Edward E. Furash, Chairman, Jack L. Mitchell, Vice <br /> Chairman, Elizabeth M. Flynn, Secretary, Arthur T. Bernier, J. H. <br /> Blaisdell, Levi G. Burnell, Howard L. Levingston, H. B. Moore, <br /> Donald B. White and Richard M. Perry Comptroller. <br /> S . Byrnes, a town meeting member, Mrs. Sanderson, a citizen and <br /> Mrs. Feakes of the League of Women Voters observed the meeting. <br /> With reference to a letter received from Kingston Howard, Chairman <br /> of the Bicentennial Committee, the Chairman will invite the Com- <br /> mittee to meet with us to discuss their fund raising plans for 1975. <br /> Chairman Furash proposed the following schedule: <br /> 1. January 24th, January 31st, February 7th, regular <br /> Monday meetings <br /> 2. February 12th, Saturday meeting <br /> 3. February 14th, a Monday, and February 16th, a Wednes- <br /> day, regular meetings, as necessary <br /> L . Report to printers by February 18th. <br /> 5. March 6th, Elections <br /> 6. March 20th, first session of Town Meeting <br />
