Minutes of meeting held on May 10, 1971 - page 2 <br /> representative from each Town Committee or Board is requested to <br /> serve on this Study Committee. <br /> RESERVE FUND TRANSFERS: <br /> Acct. #6000 Park-Exp. 110,450. to cover bid for re- <br /> pairs to the Center <br /> swimming pool <br /> Acct. #1950 Elections 1,300. to cover cost of the <br /> Town Clerk Referendum <br /> upon motions duly made and seconded, it was unanimously VOTED <br /> to approve the requested transfers . <br /> Meeting is scheduled on Monday, May 17, 1971 with the Selectmen and <br /> major Town Committees and Boards. <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 9:00 P.M. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Richard M. Perry <br /> Comptroller <br /> The Appropriation Committee held a meeting at 7:30 P.M. , on Monday, <br /> May 17, 1971, in the office of the Comptroller, Estabrook Hall, <br /> Lexington. Present were Edward E. Furash, Chairman, Jack L. Mitchell, <br /> Vice Chairman, Elizabeth M. Flynn, Secretary, J. H. Blaisdell, Levi G. <br /> Burnell, Howard L. Levingston, Richard M. Perry, Comptroller and <br /> Donald B. White . <br /> Meeting was held at 7:35 P.M., in the Bird Room, Cary Memorial with <br /> the Board of Selectmen, Town Officers and members of major Boards . <br /> Discussion was held with respect to the proposed land site off Maple <br /> street and Lowell street, which will eventually be used as a Junior <br /> High School site . A proposed site of approximately 30 acres has <br /> been slightly varied in location on the total site . Chairman Cataldo <br /> of the Board of Selectmen requested an opinion from all Boards . <br /> The Committee at its reconvened meeting in the Office of the Comp- <br /> troller agreed that a decision of action on the above cannot be made <br /> until further information is available. <br /> Articles for the Special Town Meeting, on June 14, 1971, were <br />
