Present were Edward E. Furash, Chairman, <br /> Jack L. Mitchell, Vice Chairman, Elizabeth M. Flynn, Secretary, <br /> Arthur T. Bernier, J. H. Blaisdell, Levi G. Burnell, Howard L. Leving- <br /> ston, Richard M. Perry, Comptroller and Donald B. White . <br /> Robert Kingston of the Capital Expenditures Committee joined the <br /> meeting to explain the background of the $1,900. request in Article <br /> #53 . . 1,500. oftherequested amount is for study, plans and specifi- <br /> cations for the Red Cross Building. $400. is for the services of a <br /> carpenter during the study of decay of the building' s timbers. <br /> Mr. Kingston retired from the meeting at 8:10 P.M. <br /> After discussion, the following actions were decided: <br /> Articles #31-#36 - wait to see how the Town Meeting votes and <br /> then act. <br /> Article #47 - still in disagreement with the Selectmen' s <br /> request for $25,000 for the Lincoln St. site . <br /> Still recommend $10,000. <br /> Article #27 - will hold at Report' s recommendation of <br /> $8,789. for the MVMH, until Town Meeting. <br />
