The Appropriations Committee held a meeting at 7:30 P.M., on Monday, <br /> January 4, 1971, in the office of the Comptroller, Estabrook Hall, <br /> Lexington. Present were Edward E. Furash, Chairman, Elizabeth M. <br /> Flynn, Secretary, Arthur T. Bernier, Levi G. Burnell, Howard L. <br /> Levingston, H. Bigelow Moore, Richard M. Perry, Comptroller and <br /> Donald B. White. <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was VOTED to submit the Ap- <br /> propriation Committee Report, as amended, to the Town Clerk. Recom- <br /> mendations, where necessary, are as follows: <br /> Article 2. Recommended: Favorable action - bonding $4,300,000. <br /> r-i <br /> lr Article 3. Recommended: Favorable action - $200. - Stedman Rd. <br /> Article 4. Recommended: Favorable action: sewer project <br /> additional borrowing apprvd. $100,000. <br /> raise in the tax levy 7 000. <br /> Appropriate ,000. <br /> Article 6. Recommended: Favorable action - X4,000. - to be raised <br /> Acct. #4100-Fire-P.S. on the tax <br /> Additional Appropriation levy <br /> Article 13 . Recommended: Unfavorable action, at this time, since <br /> funds have not been requested. <br /> The Chairman read the following statement: "All Articles, with the <br /> exception of Article #13, request funds . Such funds are to be <br /> raised on the tax levy and if funds are appropriated under Article <br /> #13, such funds are to be transferred from Conservation Funds ." <br /> The next meeting night is scheduled for Monday, January 11, 1971. <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 10:05 P.M. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> 111 72A <br /> Elizabeth M.
