0 r7 The Appropriations Committee held a meeting at 7:1+5 P.M., on wedhasday, January 14, 1970, in the Comptroller's Office, Town Office Building, Lexington. Members present were Robert M. Gary, Chairman, Edward E. Furash, Vice Chairman, Elizabeth M. Flynn, Secretary, Richard M. Perry, Comptroller, J. H. Blaisdell, Levi G. Burnell, Jack L. Mitchell and H. Bigelow Moore. Selectmen Kenney, Chairman of the Town Office Building Committee joined the meeting and explained the schedule for bids for the addition, if the Town Meeting approves . Also he explained the problems of operating Town offices at the present location during addition alterations and also the problems of relocating all offices and vacating the building during con- struction. The construction will take from ten to twelve months and the 1/7Committee is examining the most economical and efficient manner in which to operate Town business during this period. Possible site locations are being viewed for interim location.
