28 <br /> The Appropriations Committee held a meeting at 7:45 P.M., on Monday, <br /> January 5, 1970 in the Comptroller' s Office, Town Office Building, <br /> Lexington. Members present were Robert M. Gary, Chairman, Edward E. <br /> Furash, Vice Chairman, Elizabeth M. Flynn, Secretary, Richard M. <br /> Perry, Comptroller, J. H. Blaisdell, Levi G. Burnell, Jack L. Mitchell, <br /> H. Bigelow Moore and Donald B. White. <br /> After discussion, upon motion duly made and seconded, it was VOTED <br /> that the Committee recommends that the cost of living increase shall <br /> not exceed 6%.
