RECEIVED <br /> 2022 22 I uir, 9 23 aim <br /> Semiquincentennial Commission (Lex250) <br /> November 29, 2021 Meeting Minutes TOWN C.LERK <br /> LEXINGTON <br /> Present: Suzie Barry (Select Board Member), Steve Cole, Jr. (Community Representative), <br /> Steve Conners (Reenactment Community), Barry Cunha (Local Business Representative), Bebe <br /> Fallick(Tourism Committee Representative), Cerise Jalelian (Town Celebrations Committee <br /> Representative), Julie O'Leary (Civic Representative), Paul O'Shaughnessy (Historical <br /> Organization Representative), Mona Roy (Community Representative) and Jillian Tung (Music <br /> & Arts Representative). <br /> The meeting opened at 4:02 pm <br /> Logo Contest & Timing: <br /> Members reviewed the Logo Contest guidelines, paperwork and timing of the contest. Jillian <br /> provided a draft press release, artists agreement and minor release that the committee commented <br /> on and edited. Discussion was had surrounding the appropriate amount of money to be offered <br /> for a stipend and how many awards to make. Members settled on making three awards. There <br /> was consensus to send the edited documents to Town Counsel for review before launching the <br /> contest. Suzie will reach out to Town Counsel. Members also reviewed those chosen to serve <br /> on the jury panel. Jillian reported that Matt Siegal at LexArt will donate space for the entries to <br /> be exhibited. <br /> Next meeting date & homework: <br /> • Next meeting: Wednesday,December 15, 2021 at 4:00 pm via Zoom. <br /> Adjourn: The meeting adjourned by roll call vote at 5:05 pm. <br /> Respecfully submitted, <br /> Suzie Barry <br />
