RECEIVED <br /> 2022 22 rar„ &56 rannii <br /> MINUTES OF THE COMMUNITY PRESERVATION COMMITTEE .'OWN CLERK <br /> MARCH 10, 2022 LEXING'rON MA <br /> Remote Zoom Meeting <br /> Meeting ID: 815 9514 9064 <br /> Committee Members Present by Roll Call: Marilyn Fenollosa (Chair), Charles Hornig (Vice- <br /> Chair), David Horton, Jeanne Krieger,Joe Pato, Robert Pressman, Lisah Rhodes, and Melinda <br /> Walker <br /> Committee Member(s) Absent: David Langseth <br /> Other Attendees: David Kanter (Capital Expenditures Committee liaison), Carolyn Kosnoff <br /> (Assistant Town Manager for Finance), and Kathryn Roy <br /> Ms. Fenollosa called the meeting to order at 4:00 pm, followed by reading the guidelines for a <br /> public meeting and for a meeting via Zoom. <br /> 1. Announcement: From information received from Bob Burbidge, Ms. Fenollosa <br /> announced that LexHAB is withdrawing its request for Vine Street construction funds <br /> from this year's recommendations to Town Meeting. Members of the LexHAB board <br /> felt that the costs were too high to bring to Town Meeting and would seek other <br /> alternatives for construction on the site. The full board will meet on Friday March 11 to <br /> officially decide. Accordingly, when the CPC meets on Monday, March 14th, it will likely <br /> vote to Indefinitely Postpone the LexHAB article [10(k)]. <br /> 2. Transfers to Community Preservation Fund "buckets": Ms. Kosnoff described and <br /> pointed out the transfer of funds to the CPF "buckets" because of the increase in the <br /> State matching funds from 30% to 45.5%., a total of$790,261. A vote by Town Meeting <br /> is needed to effect the transfers. <br /> Motion: That the following adjustments be made to the estimated receipts reserved <br /> for FY2022 as recommended by the Community Preservation Committee, and <br /> approved under Article 10 of the 2021 Annual Town Meeting (moved and seconded, <br /> respectively, by Charles Hornig and Lisah Rhodes) <br /> From To <br /> For the acquisition, creation and preservation of open space $743,000 $822,026 <br /> For the acquisition, preservation, rehabilitation and restoration of historic resources $743,000 $822,026 <br /> For the acquisition, creation, preservation and support of community housing $743,000 $822,026 <br /> To the Unbudgeted Reserve $5,201,000 $5,754,183 <br /> Approved unanimously by roll call vote: 8-0 <br />
