Souza <br /> Town :leport - Appropriation Co;.,mittee statement discussed. Two drafts of <br /> possible statements were discussed; one descriptive approach, one philosophic <br /> approach.xitk Voted to use the descriptive approach with some editing, and <br /> to include a picture of the committee. <br /> Cherry Sheet - Final charges to Town b-sed on Cherry Sheet came in at 4328,0:;0 <br /> (35,(Y0 under Cherry Sheet); County assessments, however, were more than <br /> estimated by ; 35,0"0. Result is #30,000 more to pay than estimated. This <br /> will be a charge against 1967 taxes. <br /> Lr <br /> ,...� Release of funds - Dick Pe,'ry will send a form letter to departments advising <br /> =4 them that balances will be transferred to E & D as required by law unless <br /> there are our standing commitments of which he is notified before the end <br /> o� the year. <br /> Budgets - School budget will show additional increase. The salary committee <br /> has now approved an additional 0150 across-the-board increase. As previously <br /> recommended the average increase was 10A, now it will be 12`/'0. <br /> Next meeting - Nov. 28 - Ask Recreation Committee to discuss new projects <br /> for this year. <br /> Meet with Capital Expenditures Committee if they have any <br /> information on the c-2.pital expenditures anticipated. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Auth F.
