Rawls. <br /> Reserve Fund - No requests <br /> Structure of Government Committee - discussion <br /> Warrant for June 20 Town Meeting - written so that nothing can go on tax levy. <br /> Article 2, Town Barn - bids due June 10. Available funds total <br /> $158,000, therefore Barn must be bonded. 3% down payment required; <br /> ,...r this has been covered by March appropriation of $36,000. All can <br /> be bonded unless bids are greatly in excess of anticipated cost. <br /> L.) <br /> Article 3, Abandonment of part of building line, Mass. Ave. <br /> i`F nk Parris will inquire whether there is any cost for this. <br /> Article 4, Route 2 funds (see minutes 4/25/66) $22,300 <br /> Recommendation: E & D. <br /> A Article 5, Visible Parking Ticket - Don Grant states that Airport <br /> experience is that 90% pay by mail, involving negligible expense <br /> to Authority. Present system in Lexington takes considerable police <br /> time, involves sending a policeman to Registry. <br /> Recommend favorable action. <br /> Article 6, Building By-Law change to allow additional building <br /> inspectors. Frank Parrish will inquire whether this will involve <br /> additional commitment of funds in future years. <br /> Articles 7 through 11 - Zoning and Street Name Articles <br /> Article 12 through Article 15 - Conservation Articles <br /> Stratham Road reconsidered. Voted in favor of appropriating <br /> $12,000 from E & D. <br /> Capital Expenditures Committee - Appropriation Committee joint meeting <br /> to discuss Conservation policy and kindergarten meeting. <br /> Van Boughton suggested consideration of borrowing a sizable amount <br /> of money to put into Conservation Fund and remove piecemeal as Town <br /> wishes to acquire parcels of land. Members of Appropriation Comm. <br /> felt this would not be allowed by law, that bonding has to be for a <br /> project, not for a fund. <br /> C.E.C. report recommended $150,000/yr. for the next 5 years for Conser- <br /> vation land. March T.M. appropriated $61,000; Stratham Rd.($12,000) <br /> and Willards Woods ($54,0:0) would make a total $127,000 this year. <br /> Whipple Rill land (,' 88,000 add'1) would bring the total to $215,000; <br /> it would also have to be bonded because funds are not available for <br /> transfer. <br />
