Approved the transfer of $1,163 to the Town Clerk's Dept. to <br /> cover deficit in appropriat._on of Personal Services. <br /> B. The transfer of $976 to the Maintenance of Fire Alarm and Radio <br /> Account of the Fire Dept. was affirmed after receipt of letter <br /> from Selectmen (item had been approved on 6 Dec. 1965). <br /> LrJ Visit by Chief of Police with officer displaying new uniform — funds of <br /> r—I $225 per man to be requested. <br /> Report b: Mr. Gary on School Committee meeting with TiroUA on 8 Dec. 1965: <br /> School budget increase to be $648,615 (11.7%) — feasibility of kindergarten <br /> introduced because of slowdown in 1st grade enrolment. <br /> Visit by Mr. Al Gray re: the salary of welfare Director — to be referred <br /> to Selectmen. <br /> Discussion of various budgets including the following: <br /> A. #1125 Selectmen's Fire and Police Medical cut from $4,000 to $500. <br /> B. #1130 Guides' Directorpostponed pending further information. <br /> C. #1150 Town Clerk request for more information re: necessity of <br /> new clerk. <br /> D.
