2 <br /> The Appropriation Committee met on Monday, November 22, 1965, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> in the office of the Town Accountant <br /> Present: Frank T. Parrish, Jr. , Chairman <br /> J. Harper Blaisdell Oscar R. Ca. lson <br /> Allan Kenney Robert M. Gary <br /> Logan Clarke Donald P. Noyes <br /> Mrs. Richard 4. Nouza Raymond L. White, Secretary <br /> Meeting was called to order at 7:58 p.m. <br /> The first item considered was a request of $200.00 from the Reserve Fund <br /> to take care of voting machines. The Town owns 34 voting machines and George <br /> Freeman, mechanic for Police Dept. on motor equipment, would take care <br /> r-1 of and service Noting machines. A motion was made and seconded and voted <br /> L-J to transfer $200.00 from the Reserve Fund for George Freeman to take care <br /> of voting machines. Transfer was made to Elections -Jurisdiction of Town <br /> Clerk account for out-of-state travel (training course for Freeman) <br /> A letter from Mr. Gray in regards to letter the Town received from the <br /> Postal authorities on funds they have to ourctedit. <br /> Mr. Parrish, Chairman, spoke in general on confirmation he received from <br /> Rufus McQuillan on Cummings Milk Co. <br /> Alfred Gray, executive assistant, entered our meeting at 8:30 p.m. lie <br /> stated that the index used must be the same in all cases. <br /> Letter from Board of Public Welfare requesting a transfer of $3,000.00 <br /> from the Reserve Fund to Public Relief - General Relief account. <br /> A motion was made, seconded and voted to transfer $3,000.00 from the Reserve <br /> Fund to Public delfare and Expenses Account. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Raymond L. ,'shite, secretary <br />
