1.0 <br /> Appropriation Committee Meeting <br /> February 20, 1965, 9:00 a.m. <br /> Present: J. Blaisdell, R. Battin, F. Parrish, 0. Carlson, R. Ga.y, <br /> R. Souza, D. Noyes, L. Clarke, R. White, secretary. <br /> Article 34 — Library would like to carry $4,000. instead of $3,000 <br /> Hunt Property — $250,000 payable ove.. 10 yrs. <br /> $750,000 represents increase on property, $1,000,000 assessment on <br /> new property. <br /> Int. and principal over a period of 10 years would cost Town <br /> $30,000 per year. Property would have to be assessed for $1,000,000. <br /> Frank Parrish made a motion to oppose the purchase of the Hunt <br /> Propsty, vote 8 opposed, 1 in favor of purchase. Motion carried. <br /> Article #69 • <br /> Tax Rate $46.75 as the figures are now with no bonding. R. Battin <br /> suggested bonding for land purchase. 10 year bonding of $200,000 <br /> plus $50,000 cash. <br /> Art. 72 Public Facilities Bldg — new figure $50,000. Mark Moore <br /> will build this at cost. Committee votes against this Article. <br /> Articles 84 and 85 — vote in favor. <br /> $20,000 in cash, balance to be raised on a bond for 20 years. <br /> Meet with Selectmen at 11:30 <br /> Conservation Fund — Marrett Road property <br /> Lowell Street <br /> Public Facilities $38,000 • <br /> Parking Lot — Worthen Rd — Out <br /> Planning Board Survey, Art. 70 $15,000 <br /> Trunk gewers *t <br /> Hunt Block <br /> Art. 15 — Logan Clarke will work on this. <br /> Respectfully subiitteda} <br /> Raymond L.
