Harper 11a1.sdell,, Chairman <br /> Robert M. Gary Richard H. Battin <br /> Donald P. Noyes Oscar R. Carlson <br /> Mrs. Richard W. Souza Logan Clarke, Jr. <br /> Raymond L. White, Secretary <br /> 1-4 The meeting was called to order at $:10 P. M. <br /> Onr Chairman stated that to date we have not received the Law <br /> j=i' Department and Town Celebrations budgets as follows: <br /> Law-- Personal Services - Page #1775 <br /> Law-- Expenses - Page #1800 <br /> . <br /> Law-- Special �'ouncil - Page #1$50 <br /> Law-- Special Fees - Page 2400 <br /> A general discussion was had on salaries based on the Evans report. <br /> The Board of Selectmen are discussing a 5% increase as the sixth step and <br /> • after nine years of service a longevity increase of 3% of base. <br /> The Chairman stated that this committee are to meet with the Board <br /> of Selectmen at nine O'Clock this evening to discuss duties on certain <br /> �-- Personnel. <br /> Mr. James J. Carroll, Town Clerk and Treasurer was buried today after , <br /> serving the Town faithfully and well for over 30 years. 1 <br /> Mary McDonough is taking out papers on Town Clerk and Town Treasurer. <br /> . The chairman stated that he would like to see some concrete action in regards <br /> to the Town Clerk and Town Treasurer positions vacant due to James J. Carroll' <br /> death. <br /> Frank Parrish is now working on preliminary sheet on budgets. <br /> Mr. Gray entered our meeting at 9:00 P. M. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> • <br /> Raymond L.
