Discussed article 24 - DPW equipment request for $16+,500. <br /> ry confirmed earlier decision to go along with only $84,500 but not <br /> 80,000 for front end loader to replace compacter. <br /> 2. Joined by W. Grush and T. Wenham of assessors regarding article 33 - <br /> revaluation request for $179,000 to bring total appropriated to <br /> $240,000. Low bidder, Systems Technology Inc. , have not been able <br /> to give firm commitment of who they would assign to town to do appraisal <br /> work if they got job. R. Cataldo asked "could letter of withdrawal be <br /> obtained from them". After much discussion and many questions <br /> Appropriation Committee voted to endorse request of $179,000. <br /> Question of garbage pickup was discussed in case combination trash- <br /> garbage collection failed in reconsideration.
