Dailey, J. Campbell, G. Silverman <br /> Board of Assessors: W. Potter, J. McWeeney, T. Wenham <br /> Can we do revaluation in house? <br /> John McWeeney explained dimensions of details necessary in "in house <br /> revaluation". Would prefer not to do it this way. <br /> George Silverman reported on meeting with Selectmen and Legislators. <br /> Rep. L. Cole discussed "capping" legislation. <br /> R. Hutchinson joined meeting. <br /> R. Cataldo expressed philosphy of committee and what approach to take. <br /> Motion made by W. Dailey, seconded by M. Kutchin -- moved, that the <br /> Committee adopt a position that it will not approve any expenditure in an <br /> account over the amount approved in FY 1979 except this motion shall <br /> only apply to accounts involving expense items of a discretionary nature. _— <br /> Favor 2 - Opposed 4 <br /> Motion made by G. Silverman, seconded by M. Gilman (the same as above except <br /> add the following) : unless such expense increase is substantially justified. <br /> Favor 2 - Opposed 4 <br /> The Committee adopts as its goal that the expense budget for FY '80 not <br /> exceed the expense budget for FY'79. <br /> Favor 4 - 2 opposed <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Richard M.
