Room 111 <br /> PRESENT: Donald White, Chairman, George Silverman, Vice Chairman, <br /> Richard M. Perry, Secretary, John Blaisdell, William Dailey, <br /> Martin Gilman, Mitzi Kutchin <br /> I . BUDGETS <br /> A review of Expense Budgets was made by the Committee and the <br /> following points were made : <br /> a. Account #3330 - Replace - more information needed here. <br /> b. George Silverman to contact the Board of Health re the <br /> charge incurred with rabies clinic - maybe a fee should <br /> be charged here? <br /> c . Library parking lot will not be metered. <br /> d. Account #3900 - reworking meters - raising basic fee to <br /> 5¢ - $20,000 per year income . <br /> II . MINUTEMAN REGIONAL VOCATIONAL HIGHSCHOOL <br /> Present: Robert Jackson <br /> a. Budget up $200, 000. — <br /> b. As of October 1977 enrollment - 192. <br /> c . Mr. Silverman asked Mr. Jackson if he felt that the <br /> Administration was doing all they could to control <br /> costs? Mr. Jackson stated "yes" , I really feel they <br /> are . <br /> d. Chairman White stated that the Appropriation Committee <br /> would oppose any increase in personnel at any level -- <br /> especially with the declining enrollment. <br /> e . There is a possibility that the building of an access <br /> road out to 2A could result in additional funds. <br /> III . BUDGETS <br /> a. Account #4150 - where are we heading re fire alarms as <br /> far as their use is concerned and their possible removal? <br /> b. Account #7550 - Mrs. Kutchin was asked by the. Chairman to <br /> get in touch with Mr. Hilton re the increase in postage. <br /> c . Mr. Campbell is to get back to Mr. McSweeney re micro-film <br /> urgency this year. <br /> d. Mr. Blaisdell stated that he felt there were too many amounts <br /> that were not justified.
