Levingston <br /> Q I . ELEVATOR CONTRACTS <br /> Martin Gilman reported to the Committee his findings re the <br /> above subject: <br /> a. $192.00 per month on all elevators. <br /> b. $166.00 per month for school servicing. <br /> Against $123.00 offered by Stanley. This matter was <br /> referred to Acting Town Manager Perry to carry through <br /> with Mr. Lawson. <br /> II . ASSIGNMENTS <br /> (See attached sheet 248A) <br /> III . SELF INSURANCE <br /> Upon motions duly made and seconded, the Appropriation <br /> Committee VOTED to ask the Board of Selectmen to set <br /> up a Committee to look into the subject of self insurance. <br /> SO VOTED <br /> IV. BONDING (Conservation) <br /> Mr. Zehner made a presentation concerning the above subject. <br /> Pressures of Tax Rate <br /> Existing (Upward) <br /> Inflation <br /> Lag in funding <br /> Decline in Assessment base <br /> Pressure groups <br />
