239 <br /> V. LIBRARY <br /> A communication from Director, Robert Hilton was read to the <br /> Committee re "A book security (anti-theft) system for the <br /> main library" . An estimate for such a system was quoted to <br /> be $20,000-$30,000 - however this system would pay for itself <br /> in several years. Mrs. Kutchin was asked by the Chairman to <br /> attend this meeting on September 15, 1976 at 8 :30 A.M. <br /> VI . HEALTH DEPARTMENT <br /> ._.., George Smith so advised Mr. Perry that there would be an <br /> additional cost of $1500 to cover expenses re "swine flu" . <br /> Mr. Perry is to have Mr. Smith send a breakdown of expenses <br /> to the Chairman re this. <br /> VII . TOWN MANAGER <br /> Chairman Furash asked Mr. Perry to get from the Board of Selectmen <br /> a budget re the costs involved with the selection of a new Town <br /> Manager, i.e . , hotel costs, etc. <br /> The Committee went into EXECUTIVE SESSION with the Board of Selectmen <br /> and the Personnel Board at 9: 05 P.M. <br /> Appropriation Committee meeting adjourned at 10:30 P.M. <br /> Next meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 27, 1976 at 7:30 P.M. <br /> in Room G-15. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> 7)-0-4 46-4-‘47 -f <br /> L'iohn Blaisdell/mo'b <br /> Secretary <br />
