Perry, Ex-officio <br /> I . A motion was made and seconded by Secretary Blaisdell to <br /> postpone the reading of the minutes of , itme514, 1976 until <br /> the next meeting. m � > <br /> II . PROJECT LEADS <br /> a. Bill Spencer showed a slide presentation re: this project. <br /> b. might have some implications in Gen. Town Government at some <br /> time. <br /> c . educational data on students can be made available within <br /> seconds -- instead of waiting perhaps 3 to 4 days. Effective <br /> communication and leadership can be achieved through Leads <br /> Mr. Spencer said. <br /> d. Fiske and Bowman Schools first to start in November. <br /> f. Chairman Furash stated that it was not the system that he <br /> was concerned about -- but it is the cost of putting this <br /> data in and keeping it up. What will the cost per child be? <br /> g. Mr. Spencer said that he felt the workload for data entry <br /> will be the same as current workload for aids, etc. at present. <br /> III . LAVENTHOL & HORWATH <br /> A letter from Mr. Robert Boyer, Partner with the above firm <br /> was presented to the Committee. This letter was concerning <br /> the possible engagement of an independent certified public <br /> accounting firm to perform auditing and accounting services <br /> for the Town. (Letter on file ) <br /> IV. RESERVE FUND TRANSFERS <br /> Town Manager O'Connell joined the meeting at 8:40 P.M. to discuss <br /> the above subject: <br /> Account Request Explanation <br /> 5250 $5,000 Will not be needed. <br /> 5450 x,446- one more load of <br /> gasoline to carry <br /> us through June - <br /> L ($2,000) . Majority <br /> of expenses is due <br /> to maintenance and <br /> gasoline. Maybe <br /> we are making too <br /> many repairs . <br />
