Perry, Secretary <br /> Capital Expenditures Committee <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> `T I. RECREATION <br /> 1. Lincoln St. - $5,000 - to take care of parking area for this yr. <br /> 2. Ballfield Lighting - #1 Priority - requesting $4,000 for more <br /> engineering work. If approval given for above,bids will be <br /> ready before Town Meeting. Chairman Furash questioned the <br /> weather factor here and was told this would be ok. <br /> Upon motions duly made and seconded, <br /> all Boards VOTED in favor of the <br /> above expenditure. <br /> 3 . Tennis - 1974-75 increase of 18% - 6 ,143 cards issued. <br /> Chairman Furash stated there is a very strong feeling with <br /> tennis reservations and did not endorse any more courts to be <br /> built. Mr. Briggs stated that tennis rated very high (top five) <br /> on the recreation survey - swimming pool #1 priority. <br /> 4. Mr. Silverman stated he wanted no new projects until we see a <br /> plan. <br /> 5. Chairman Furash mentioned that: 1) we would like results of the <br /> Planning Board study released and examined by the Board of <br /> Selectmen -- put in a form of a 5-year program and 2) we would <br /> like to have presented to Town Meeting a forecast of financial <br /> impact of each of the projects. <br /> It was so VOTED by the Board of Selectman that the remainder of the <br /> meeting would be EXECUTIVE SESSION. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 12 : 10 P.M. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Cn � —l1 e <br /> Richard M.
