White, Vice <br /> w_. Chairman, Schools, Martin A. Gilman, Peter Hall, <br /> Patricia K. Hagedorn, Howard L. Levingston <br /> I . Meeting with Town Manager O'Connell and Mr. Shaw re Inspections <br /> Prior to the above meeting, Chairman Furash stated <br /> the following points for the Committee to keep in <br /> mind re the Report: <br /> a. No talk about workload productivity, <br /> b. No talk about fee cost, <br /> c. No additional cost should be incurred here - <br /> best job at least money. <br /> Chairman Furash stated to the Town Manager the Committee's <br /> appreciation for the report given here. <br /> The following points were made: <br /> 1. Should there be a consultants fee? Is it included <br /> in $6,000 budget? Yes! <br /> 2. Police Dept. steping in here - can this be looked into? <br /> 3. Neil Chapman should further examine this and give his <br /> opinion - if he feels this is a worthwhile step. <br /> 4. Chairman Furash stated that if the Town Manager wanted <br /> to come back with a proposal that would be fine and <br /> he would like the following questions answered? <br /> a. For each inspection area wer would like <br /> a documentation of the work load. <br /> b. What are the number of inspections? <br /> c. What is the quality and quantity of services <br /> we are getting? <br /> d. Any proposals should be accompanied by <br /> complete description of workload. <br /> e. Where are fee incomes coming from? <br /> f. Our Committee is open to any proposal you <br /> want to make, however, getting the job done <br /> for same dollars and same manpower is our motto! <br /> No increase to the Town is what we are after! <br />
