Bernier, Peter Hall, Richard M. <br /> Perry, Comptroller <br /> �.� Members of the Personnel Board <br /> I . GENERAL DISCUSSION <br /> a. Mr. Butler informed the Committee that Mr. McGonagle <br /> was leaving the Committee on December 30, 1975. <br /> Two recommendations were given: Harold Page - Polaroid, <br /> Joanne Small - General Radio-Concord. <br /> At the present time Mr. Comstock is ill thus putting <br /> extra workload pressures on the board. <br /> b. Personnel Manual <br /> 1. The manual compiled thus far was passed around <br /> for the Appropriation Committee to look at. There <br /> has been no policy in some areas established as <br /> yet but are being worked on. <br /> 2. 19 different department heads, Board of Selectmen, <br /> and Appropriation Committee were interviewed re <br /> existing policy. <br /> 3. Personnel Administrator - Charles Cook has been <br /> selected as Personnel Administrator. He is 23 years <br /> of age and has had experience in personnel and labor <br /> management with the Mass. League of Cities and Towns. <br /> Mr. Chapman stated he was very bright and able young <br /> man - Salary: $13,600. <br /> 4. Mr. Butler listed the following men and their titles: <br /> Mr. Shaw - Projects Manager <br /> Mr. Smith - Budget Administrator <br /> Mr. Cook - Personnel Administrator <br /> 5. Job descriptions are in the possession of the Town <br /> Manager. Mr. Butler stated that not all jobs have <br /> descriptions and there is a definite need to get this <br /> locked up. <br /> 6. Compensation Review Board - Some department heads are <br /> riot pleased with the results of the ADL Study. The <br /> results of this study could be reviewed by this Board. <br /> Chairman Furash asked just what this Board would do? <br /> a. Keep records up to date. <br /> b. Co'tend with other daily problems. <br />
