141 <br /> DATE: March 10, 1975 <br /> TIME: 7:30 P.M. <br /> PLACE: Town Office Building, Room 111 <br /> PRESENT: Edward E. Furash, Chairman, Donald B. White, Vice Chairman- <br /> Schools, Elizabeth M. Flynn, Secretary, Arthur T. Bernier, <br /> J. H. Blaisdell, Patricia Hagedorn, Martin A. Gilman, <br /> Richard M. Perry, Comptroller <br /> I . The Appropriation Committee met and passed a motion unanimously <br /> expressing it's profound sorrow of the passing of it's Vice- <br /> Chairman Jack Mitchell. The Committee also expressed its grate- <br /> ful appreciation for his many contributions to this Committee <br /> and the Town of Lexington. <br /> A copy of the above was sent to Mrs. Ruth Mitchell. <br /> II. RESERVE FUND TRANSFER <br /> Conservation increases in Secretarial expenses. <br /> It was moved and seconded to transfer the amount of $700,00 <br /> from the Reserve Fund to Account #2460 Conservation Expenses. <br /> III . GENERAL <br /> 1. Raymond Street repaving - Mr. Gilman stated that he felt <br /> Raymond Street could wait however, Grant Street was a <br /> necessity. <br /> Upon motions duy:made and seconded $14,000 <br /> was voted by the Committee. 5 voted yes and <br /> 1 voted no. <br /> 2. Articles 20-21-22 -- we have been pushing hard to <br /> complete the sewer program so that all developments <br /> are sewered. <br /> 3. Sanitary Landfill Transfer Station - Mr. White had <br /> some discussion with J. McSweeney on this and he <br /> claims that this proposal is in response to some <br /> citizen's complaints. Chairman Furash stated that he <br /> felt that this has not been presented to us in the <br /> right manner and we should therefore not go along with <br /> it until further and more detailed information is given. <br /> Upon motions duly made and seconded the <br /> above was VOTED Unfavorable action due to <br /> lack of insufficient information. <br /> 4. Inflow-Infitration Study - we have no back-up information <br /> on this. <br /> Upon motions duly made and seconded the <br /> above was VOTED Unfavorable action. <br />
