Gov't. , <br /> �-, Elizabeth M. Flynn, Secretary, J. H. Blaisdell, <br /> Arthur T.Bernier, Martin Gilman, Howard L. Levingston, <br /> Richard M. Perry, Comptroller <br /> AGENDA - November 18, 1974 <br /> I . 8 :00 P.M. - Fire Presentation - Board of Selectmen <br /> 9:00 P.M. - TMMA - Mr. Spencer <br /> II . CABLE TV <br /> This was discussed briefly with the Committee. Mr. Gilman <br /> does not feel that we are ready to jump into this right <br /> now. Mr. Levingston stated that a public service channel <br /> would be an advantage to the Town. <br /> III . TRANSFER REQUEST <br /> Town Report - Original cost of printing last year was $6800. <br /> Mr. Zehner has been encouraged to seek professional help should <br /> the town volunteer help not pull through. This year it will be <br /> necessary to print State primaries and State elections thus <br /> increasing the report by 28 pages. The cost of this will <br /> run $8500. Mr. Zehner stated he still hoped to keep this a <br /> community project thus ruling out professional help and felt <br /> that $8500 would be sufficient to cover the entire cost. <br /> Town Manager O'Connell stated that $1,000 would cover the cost <br /> of outside help if necessary. <br /> Upon motions duly made and seconded it was VOTED by the Board <br /> of Selectmen to transfer the amount of $1500 to Account #2525. <br /> IV . FINANCIAL SERVICES PRESENTATION <br /> Mr. Perry stated that he was in dire need of 1 additional full 4 <br /> time person. six month bills - W-2 Forms, motor vehicle excise <br /> bills have created much more work in the Department Mr. Perry <br /> stated. Retirement work has increased greatly and may very <br /> soon require a full-time person. Mr. Perry asked if over-time <br /> would help here and he stated flatly "NO" . <br /> _ J <br />
