Silverman <br /> H. Muehlmann <br /> W. Tonaszuck appeared before the committee.with Reserve Transfer request for <br /> $50,000 for Snow Removal Account. Three week-end storms have caused expenses to <br /> esceed budget by $33,380. Moved and seconded to transfer $36,380 ($3,000 over <br /> actual needs) - Passed unanimously. <br /> Balance in Reserve Fund now $104,620. <br /> G. Pierson and J. Maclnnes of School Administration joined meeting. <br /> G. Pierson: "Cutting 17 positions (includes math specialist and science <br /> specialist)". Increase in budget $617,000. Saved $130,000 by closing <br /> Franklin. Still $89,000 over figure carried by Town Manager. <br /> Chairman Dailey: "Your increase of $617,000 almost completely uses up the total <br /> the town is limited to increase spending by Prop. 22 - namely $700,000. <br /> What do we do for Town increases, Geoff?" <br /> G. Pierson: "School Committee would have to vote cuts in areas such as: <br /> School Building Maintenance. <br /> After School sports. <br /> Special Teachers. <br /> Our School Reps.
