APPROPRIAION COMMITTEE MEETING <br /> MONDAY,JUNE 30,2003, BOS MEETING ROOM, 7:30 PM <br /> Present: <br /> P Hamburger, K Dooks, S Spector, A Nedzel, E Michelson, R Eurich, J Ryan <br /> • Town Counsel discussed the articles proposed for the upcoming Special Town <br /> Meeting <br /> • Article 1: Reports of Town Boards, Officers, Committees <br /> • Article 2: Operating and Capital Budget (would allow discussion on all FY 2004 <br /> money articles) <br /> • Article 3: Operating Budget (would allow discussion on FY 2004 Article 4 only) <br /> • Article 4: Transpiration Services (would allow discussion of Lexpress) <br /> • Article 5: Public Safety <br /> • P Hamburger requested that the BOS forward ASAP the actual motions in order <br /> to afford the AC sufficient time in which to report to the STM <br /> • Discussed the timetable in which we need to deal with the Fiscal 2003 issues <br /> (snow deficit and possible revenue deficit) as well as the further reduction if State <br /> Aid for Fiscal 2004. The Town needs to re-balance the budget prior to tax rate <br /> setting in early December. <br /> • BOS will meet again on Monday, July 7, 2003 in preparation for the STM, which <br /> has been scheduled to begin on Monday, July 28, 2003. <br />
