APPROPRIATION COMMITTEE MEETING <br /> MONDAY, APRIL 28, 2003, NATIONAL HERITAGE MUSEUM, 7:00 PM <br /> Present: D Brown, P Hamburger, K Dooks, E Michelson, S Spector, A Levine, R <br /> Pawliczek, A Nedzel, R Eurich, J Ryan <br /> • Discussion of the Liberty Ride program for Fiscal 2003 <br /> • MOTION: To support the amendment to be offered by the Tourism Committee <br /> rescinding the amendment approved on March 26, 2003, which included the <br /> Liberty Ride within line item, 7300 Economic Development. Failed 7/2. <br /> • Further discussion of how the Appropriation Committee should report to Town <br /> Meeting. D Brown will speak to the issue. The remarks will be predicated on the <br /> presentation to be made by R Canale, Tourism Committee. <br /> • Discussion of the separation of duties between fund raising and accounting for the <br /> program <br /> • Confirmation of the unanimous support for Article 81 at the amount being <br /> recommended by the CEC,which allocates $30,000 for the ADA issues at Fire <br /> Headquarters. <br /> • MOTION: To support Article 14 which will authorize the use of$30,000 of the <br /> $50,000 appropriation made under Article 8 of the 2000 ATM. Passed 8/1. <br />
