APPROPRIATION COMMITTEE MEETING <br /> MONDAY, MARCH 24, 2003, NATIONAL HERITAGE MUSEUM 7:00 P.M. <br /> Present: <br /> D Brown, R Pawliczek, S Spector, K Dooks, E Michelson, A Levine, A Nedzel, P <br /> Hamburger, R Eurich, J Ryan <br /> • D Brown will present general overview <br /> • A Levine will speak on estimates for Fiscal 2005 and Fiscal 2006 <br /> • Discussion on Liberty Ride. Fiscal 2004 estimated revenues are conservative. <br /> Based on Fiscal 2003 (first year). Liberty Ride will request an appropriation of <br /> $52,000. Liberty Ride sates that the costs for Fiscal 2003 have been met. No <br /> deficit. Estimates based on Fiscal 2003 rider ship. Fiscal 2004 will provide one <br /> bus. <br /> • Discussion of budget restorations recommended by the BOS. <br /> • Motion: Restore $13,700 to MIS for web site support. Failed. Tie Vote <br /> • Discussion of Minuteman Vocational assessment of$1,017,000. There will be a <br /> Minuteman School Committee meeting on March 25, 2003. There is an estimate <br /> of zero state aid in the current assessment. <br />
