APPROPRAITION COMMITTEE MEETING <br /> MONDAY, MAY 7, 2001, 7:15 P.M. <br /> MUSEUM OF OUR NATIONAL HERITAGE <br /> Present: P Hamburger,D Brown, R Eurich, E Michelson, S Spector, K Dooks, R <br /> Pawliczek, A Nedzel, A Levine, J Ryan <br /> • General discussion of the Town Meeting agenda for this evening <br /> • Town Manager will make a list of proposed cuts but will not support them. <br /> • Change to PAYT will allow for a barrel label at a cost of$65 for a period of six <br /> months. <br /> • A Lazarus may propose that there be 50 bags issued"free of charge". <br /> • P Hamburger distributed and discussed his "Notes for Comments to the BOS on <br /> April 30, 2001 re: Revenue Neutrality". Majority of AC supports revenue <br /> neutrality. Concern over passage of future debt exclusions and general operating <br /> overrides. Majority of AC is concerned about a possible back-up plan if PAYT <br /> were to be rescinded. Majority of AC requests that the BOS work with the SC to <br /> meet a goal of revenue neutrality. AC also urges the BOS to clearly state where <br /> they anticipate the community going in the future with PAYT revenues. <br /> ac05.07.01 <br />
