The Town has received a State Library <br /> Grant in the amount of$ 2,861,621, with the Town's responsibility being $ 2,463,888 <br /> and the balance of the project being the responsibility of the Trustees and their fund <br /> raising. The estimated cost of the project has increased by an estimated $ 1,050,000 due <br /> to a change in the design ( an additional 5,000 sq.ft) and the costs associated with the <br /> temporary housing of the library in Cary Hall. <br /> The Trustees have pledged$ 1,000,000 of the Library Endowment. The Trustees intend <br /> to raise private funding within two years. <br /> * MOTION: Recommend approval of increase in bond authorization by $1,050,000 to <br /> $ 8,900,000. Unanimous <br /> *General discussion of the School Capital Project. Discussed Phase II and the fact that <br /> the AC must be prepared to discuss the issue if it is brought up. <br /> * MOTION: Recommend approval of$ 70,900,000 school capital request. <br /> * Motion to adjourn <br /> ac10.09 <br />
