APPROPRIATION COMMITTEE MEETING <br /> MONDAY, APRIL 8, 1996 <br /> COMPTROLLER'S OFFICE, 7:30 PM <br /> * Present: P Lapointe, M Miley, R Colwell, J Pagett, M Mairson, L Peck, R Leone, <br /> R Borghesani, J Ryan <br /> * P Lapointe stated that the AC will give its report to Town Meeting on April 22nd <br /> * P Lapointe attended a meeting with L McSweeney, K Dooks, and R White at which time <br /> he discussed the first three pages of the report <br /> * BOS asked R White to propose $ 250,000 in cuts and fill in the blanks if the AC proposal <br /> were to be adopted. No one quite sure what the SC intends to do. <br /> * P Lapointe stated that the AC needs to determine who will speak to each article in order <br /> to inform the Moderator. P Lapointe will speak to all articles unless an AC member <br /> wishes to address a specific article. <br /> * The agenda for Wednesday, April 10th will be to discuss the presentation to be made on <br /> April 22nd. P Lapointe thanked AC members for their assistance in creating the report. <br /> * AC with assistance from the Town Manager will be prepared to report on the <br /> privatization of the ambulance service without the support of the BOS <br /> * General discussion of extending debt service policy from 10 to 20 years <br /> acap8 <br />
