Motion to appropriate $ 380,000 to the school <br /> department for Fiscal 1995( $ 150,000 for early retirement program as agreed to by all <br /> parties last spring and an additional $ 230,000 from "free cash" for special education <br /> deficit this year) <br /> * MOTION to recommend approval of the motion to be presented. Unanimous, one <br /> absent. <br /> * General discussion of Article 14 slides as prepared by R Leone and C Coughlin. AC <br /> needs to explain its position on Article 14. There is a need for the AC to communicate <br /> to Town Meeting the specific reasoning for its support or lack there of on all articles, not <br /> simply stating that we recommend approval or disapproval. <br /> * AC will use slides for Article 14. AC will speak to the "Fiscal Priorities" slide when <br /> recommending approval of a Recreation article and will probably not use the slides for <br /> Article 18 if there is a sense that Town Meeting wishes to wrap up. <br /> * Motion to adjourn <br /> acmtap26 <br />
