Lazarus <br /> M. Mairson <br /> *Meeting called to order at 7:30PM <br /> *A. Lazarus discussed the pending reorganization of the School Dept. and <br /> J. Ryan explained the joint effort between the Town and School <br /> *Reorganization Meeting called to order by M. O'Sullivan <br /> Nomination placed for Chairman-L. Gilson, no other names placed in <br /> nomination, on the vote -Unanimous <br /> Nomination placed for Vice Chairman-J. Pagett and G. Burnell, general <br /> discussion on both nominees followed, L. Gilson stated he will not <br /> vote, on a secret ballot-J. Pagett 4, G. Burnell 3, Abstain 1. <br /> Nomination for Secretary, J. Ryan, vote Unanimous <br /> * L. Gilson made the following resolution "That the Appropriation Comm- <br /> ittee express its profound appreciation to Michael J. O'Sullivan for the <br /> years of service he has given to the Committee and will continue to <br /> contribute." The resolution was unanimously accepted. <br /> *L. Gilson discussed the committee assignments and the fact that the <br /> Chairman has taken on too much in the past with members having con- <br /> tributed less, a system which must change. Individual members should <br /> make presentation before Town Meeting regarding their particular <br /> assignments. <br /> *Committee Assignments: <br /> School-J. Pagett, A. Lazarus <br /> Minuteman Regional Vocational High School- R. Souza <br /> Town Government- R. Perry <br /> Department of Public Works- G. Burnell <br /> Library-M. Mairson <br /> Fire & Police-R.
